In this economics activity, students will categorize the productive resources on a tropical island.
This individual activity requires students to explore and categorize the different types of resources available on a tropical island: Natural Resources: Ocean, Water, Trees, Land, Fish; Human Resources: Fishing for food, Picking coconuts, Building shelter, Cooking food; Capital Resources: Fishing poles, Boats, Knives, Pots and Pan. After reviewing the resources, students will complete either the Quizizz Activity or ReadyAssessments Activity. Living on an island can be fun, but it can also be a long way from any other land masses. As a result, it can be a long distance from getting the resources for many of the goods and services you use every day. To complete this activity, students should follow the directions below:
