- Access web-based tools for teaching personal financial literacy

Standards
Description
This session will include Socratic lecture and instruction on key concepts and vocabulary regarding personal financial literacy. The topics of borrowing and credit, risk management, insurance, and financial decision-making will serve as the foundation of this session. The first half of the session will be lecture-style, followed by engaging activities and breakout rooms to reinforce learning. Content knowledge and associated activities will align with the National Standards in Personal Financial Education. Teachers will analyze web-based tools and large assortment of best practice activities and assessments.
