Description

This webinar employs an active learning strategy that brings students outside the classroom and into the labor market. Students can step into the fiercely competitive labor market through the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook website.

Attention is given to how the successfully employed persons differentiating themselves from other job candidates at reasonable wages and why employers hire them because they value they bring to business helps cover employers’ costs. At the end of the tour, students leave with more knowledge about diverse occupations and can be better prepared to make future educational choices than at the start of the tour.
