- the expectations and benefits for SEO Scholar participants and leave clear on which of their students they should encourage to apply for SEO.
- the benefits and opportunities for them if they serve as instructors (virtual and in-person) for SEO.

Description
This webinar will focus on the SEO Scholars program and the opportunities for students and teachers to be engaged in the program. Founded 60 years ago, the SEO Scholars program has evolved into a 8 year program serving students in three states and in over 200 colleges and universities across the country. Our time together will focus on sharing the history of SEO, an overview of our 8 year commitment to participants, an overview of our program components, and learn about the different models that operate in New York City, San Francisco and Oakland, and in Greensboro, North Carolina. In addition, attendees will learn which of their students will be best served by SEO and get an overview of the application process. Finally, attendees will learn about opportunities for them within an SEO from members of our Teaching and Learning team!
