Description
Spending Ed is Driver’s Ed for Money. We require young people to earn a learner’s permit before they drive—but most students spend money for years without ever learning a simple process for thinking before they buy. This webinar introduces Spending Ed, Gifting Sense’s free graduated Smart Spending Licensing Program. Discover how students progress through the program while practicing the habit of asking, “Does this make sense?” before making everyday purchasing decisions—and eventually larger ones. The goal is to help young people learn to Pause, Protect, and Plan their spending long before they graduate from high school. Explore the program’s classroom-ready lesson plans, printable licenses, family activities, free online quizzes, and the DIMS – DOES IT MAKE SENSE?® SCORE Calculator. All resources are free, require no login or registration, and are designed to integrate easily into existing classroom instruction.
