Description

This session’s titles include picture and chapter books, serious topics and funny tales, and biographies of the famous and little-known. Designed for classroom teachers and resource specialists, features newly released children’s books, copyrighted 2018-2023, that can be used to teach in the content areas, enrich learning, and promote creative problem solving. Using the provided lessons and activities, students will learn about choices, money, entrepreneurship, saving, opportunity cost, and the value of investing in human capital. Included are classroom-ready lessons, online links to YouTube read-alouds and an annotated bibliography.
