Description
Crossroads is an interdisciplinary webinar that helps teachers connect economics and U.S. history through the power of music. Participants will explore how songs and musical movements can be used as primary sources to examine economic concepts such as inequality, labor, migration, consumption, and public policy. Teachers will engage with classroom-ready lessons that model how to pair music with historical context and economic analysis in ways that are engaging, standards-aligned, and adaptable across grade levels. The session emphasizes practical strategies and reusable resources that teachers can immediately implement to deepen student understanding and spark meaningful discussion.
