Jeremy Miller currently serves as an assistant principal at Cambridge-Isanti High School in Minnesota. Before moving into administration, Jeremy was a technology integrationist, basketball coach, and social studies educator, teaching primarily college and general-level economics to high school students. In 2018, he received the 3M Innovative Economic Educator Award from the Minnesota Council on Economic Education for his lesson on the increasing opportunity costs of production. Prior to working in education, Jeremy served for 4 years in the Marine Corps, enlisting right after 9/11, leading a scout sniper team on deployments to Haiti and Iraq. He returned to Iraq for three more years to provide personal protection for U.S. State Department diplomats as a private security contractor. After returning to the United States, Jeremy served as mayor in his home town for 10 years. Jeremy, his wife Jessica, and two kids, Ava and Everett, love to read and travel, finding adventures scuba diving, camping, mountain climbing, and exploring the upper midwest in their airplane. Jeremy is a 2015 graduate of the University of Delaware's Master of Arts in Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators (MAEEE) program.
