Dr. Lynn MacDonald is an economics professor whose work focuses on making economic research accessible, practical, and relevant to students, educators, and the broader public. Her work centers on public and applied economics, with a particular interest in expanding economic and personal finance literacy and helping learners build confidence in economic thinking.
Since 2023, Lynn has served in leadership roles with the St Cloud State University Center for Economic Education, where she supports educators, students, and community audiences through curriculum development, professional development, and public programming.
She serves on the board of the Minnesota Economics Association and she is especially passionate about bridging scholarship and practice and supporting informed decision-making and greater public understanding of economics.
