Ted Opderbeck has been teaching economics, law, and history at Waldwick High School in Waldwick, NJ for the .past 26 years. He has enjoyed teaching many levels of economics, law, and U.S. History over the last 26 years. Ted has been named District Teacher of the Year twice and recently was recognized as an Alfred P. Sloan Teaching Champion by the Council for Economic Education in 2019. Ted is the founder of two non-profit initiatives that provide educational and health services to local underserved youth. Ted has a Master’s Degree in Teaching Social Studies from Montclair State University, NJ and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Gordon College, Wenham Mass.
