Description

Will a payroll tax cut help stave off a recession, or will it plunge the country further into debt? What are the most rational economic policies for mitigating the impact of the Coronavirus? This webinar will provide teachers with an interactive overview of our progressive tax system, and how taxation is related to the national debt. Participants will investigate recent decisions by the federal government in response to COVID-19, and the potential short and long term implications.
