Andrea Ferrero-Haggerty
Andrea Ferrero-Haggerty is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Pockets Change, a hybrid organization (s-corp and non-profit 501c3) that builds thriving financial futures for K-12 students, young adults, and educators through Hip Hop pedagogy and neuroscience. Andrea has 24 years of expertise in designing and leading award-winning programs for learners of all ages. Pockets Change was recognized in 2023, by Sony Create Action for their transformative work. They received the 2022 Innovation Award from the National Jump$tart Coalition. Andrea has published over 75 teaching and learning articles and presented on pedagogical practices with SXSW EDU, Harvard, Columbia, EdSurge, Mozilla Open Leaders, the Federal Reserve, and many others. She holds a K12 multiple-subject teaching credential and two Master’s in Educational Leadership and Curriculum & Instruction with Multicultural Contexts.
