Derry received his Bachlors' degree in business education from Kearney State College in 1981 and my Masters' degree in economics education in 1996 from the University of Nebraska. He has been teaching school since 1981-82 and in his current position at Ord High School since 1995. His current teaching assignments include Micro and Macro eocnomics, Accounting II, Business Law, Entrepreneurship, General Business, and Personal Finance. He also reviews lessons for EconEdLink throughout the year.
Derry says, "I feel EconEdLink provides teachers of economics at all levels with great lessons that bring economics to life for students. It helps to increase interest in the area of economics and helps students become aware of the need to study economics."
