Karen Holland, economist and mom, is the Founder of GiftingSense.org, a nonprofit that teaches kids to pause, gather information, and reflect before spending—showing them the ability we all have to help shape our futures, one thoughtful choice at a time. She holds a Master’s degree in Economic History and an Honors BA in Economics. Karen is a Next Gen Personal Finance Distinguished Educator and a MAIA Money Changer, a global list of citizens working to make money better for others. She believes that early success with thinking before buying inspires students to seek out the more sophisticated financial knowledge they'll need later, building financially literate citizens for life.
