The Council for Economic Education will honor African, African- American, Black, and Caribbean peoples who have struggled and overcome hardships as part of our Black History Month Series. People across the Diaspora have played significant roles in the economic, historical, and entrepreneurial legacies that helped shape the United States and the world.

From exploring Black Wall Street in the 1920s Mid- West to the implications of excluding Black English Vernacular in schools and understanding Culturally Responsive Teaching, we will discuss significant moments and figures, as well as the modern-day challenges impacting our society through the lens of Black History.
