Procedure
This is an individual activity where students will read the article Income Inequality. Students will investigate how inequality between incomes has changed over time, and how the level of inequality varies between different countries. After reading the article students will answer the questions in one of the three formats: Our World in Data: Gini Coefficient Quizizz,Our World in Data: Gini Coefficient Worksheet, or the ReadyAssessments Activity.You can facilitate student work by checking the answer key. To complete this activity, students need to follow the directions below:
- Go to the article Income Inequality.
- Read through the information presented by the authors.
- Answer the questions in the Our World in Data: Gini Coefficient Quizizz,Our World in Data: Gini Coefficient Worksheet, or the ReadyAssessments Activity.
