Real World Personal Finance is a 3-hour session designed for first-time teachers and veteran teachers who are seeking engaging, fun, and culturally relevant resources for their classroom grades 6-12. This session integrates core personal finance concepts with real-world examples. The core personal finance concepts covered during this session are as follows: Saving, Investing, Risk Management, Employment/Income, Budgeting/ Money Management, Taxes, Career Choices, Credit and Debt, Interest Rates, Incentives, Financial Institutions, and Buying Goods and Services.
