Leith Thompson that Economics is the language of power, public policy and change and so it is essential that not only Economics flourish at the secondary level but also in order to achieve gender parity in the discipline as a whole, the disparity in the Secondary sector needs to be addressed. By engaging in inclusive, experiential, collaborative Economics pedagogy, together with strategic interventions by the Economics discipline at large, not only will we improve learning outcomes, we can also encourage a new generation of students to embrace the discipline, ensuring the prosperity and welfare of the Global Economy.
