Economic and social problems aren’t solved by simply shifting an aggregate demand curve on a graph. The Moral Science approach is the 18th century — and once again popular — approach that recognizes that to be improved, economic and social problems need insights not just from economics, but from philosophy, psychology, jurisprudence, history, and ethics. Teachers will receive a student self-evaluation rubric, training in how to use it, and three Socratic Seminars: 1. Moral Skills & Motives, 2. The Moral Science of Political Economy, 3. 2081: Finally Equal.
