Description

Help students see economics not just as theory—but as a tool for change. In this session, we’ll explore how teaching core economic concepts like GDP, employment, trade, tariffs, and the business cycle can fuel civic awareness and empower student voice. In partnership with iCivics and Sphere Education Initiatives, we’ll highlight ways to connect classroom economics to real-world policies, public debates, and global issues. Learn how to equip students with the knowledge and agency to participate in economic decisions that impact their communities and futures. Walk away with ready-to-use resources, strategies, and digital tools that spark meaningful dialogue and build economic and civic literacy.
