In this dynamic, 10-part webinar series, educators will explore the intersection of economics and military conflicts, delving into the profound economic lessons that wars provide. From the basics of supply and demand to complex concepts like human capital and opportunity cost, each session is designed to engage students in critical thinking about the costs and benefits of military action. Hosted virtually from February to May, this series will offer live sessions with corresponding lesson plans that educators can immediately implement in their classrooms. This series is ideal for K-12 educators teaching economics, personal finance, or social studies, particularly those interested in incorporating real-world examples and critical thinking into their classrooms. Each session will provide educators with the tools and knowledge needed to explain complex economic principles in engaging ways that connect with students.
