  • Analyze how podcasts can empower our students by providing a platform for sharing experiences, strategies, and knowledge of women in financial spaces.
  • Explore the diversity of voices and perspectives available within the finance podcast space.
  • Create their own strategies in the classroom for amplifying women’s voices in financial conversations.

Description

This webinar will explore the ways that podcasts can inspire our students by elevating women’s voices in conversations about wealth creation, management, and financial literacy. Nearpod will be used to engage you in the story flow below:

  1. An overview of how important wealth is in our quality of life. (~10 mins)
  2. A group discussion on creating change within our educational systems by featuring women’s stories across various cultures, career backgrounds, and life experiences. (~5 mins)
  3. Share why podcasts are an accessible and inspiring source of information and provide educators specific episodes for the classroom around topics like credit, budgeting, building businesses, and investing. (~25 mins)
  4. The session will conclude with actionable strategies, lesson plans and activities for teachers to take into the classroom to amplify women’s voices and inspire our students that they too can participate in financial spaces. (~10 mins)
