Description

Current reports state that half of the world’s population could be living in countries facing water by2025. In this webinar educators will learn that the lack of safe water has dire consequences. When water is scare not only is access to water for drinking and basic hygiene threatened, but sewage systems can fail resulting in outbreaks of diseases. Along with current information concerning water scarcity, the session features interdisciplinary lessons, links to related websites, and titles for children’s books based on the dilemma of an inadequate water supply.
